In a campaign to promote the city’s commerce, a number of shopping passports were distributed among the public. The passports had to be stamped by a number of shops, cafés or restaurants. Once completed, the passports could be exchanged for a promotional gift.
The success was overwhelming. The day the gift was distributed more than 400 people queued at the collection site with their completed passports. A double objective was achieved. Citizens connected with the city’s businesses while participating at the same time in a city branding campaign.
