Touch screen GUI design for laser surgery equipment. The real challenge of this project was to find ways to economize on the limited screen space, in order to develop an intuitive and convenient navigation system while allowing a user to read the most relevant data at a distance. User-centered design requires an analysis of user interactions and the use of stereotypes for graphical user interfaces that minimize usage errors, allow for rapid learning and are visually attractive.
