"The shop assistants of Rubí Centre are so nice!” says the slogan for the 2004 Christmas campaign. The stars in this project were 7 of the most experienced and popular shop assistants of Rubí with titles telling us "Ramon is cool!" or "How nice Montse is!", because they want to give away 6.000 €. Having used such well known faces made people talk about it, either because they know the models personally or just out of sheer curiosity.
The idea behind this campaign was to personalise the process of Christmas shopping. We created a series of ads putting emphasis on the concepts of close contact, friendliness and trust, and in this way reminded the public that when they go shopping in the centre they will receive a much warmer reception than if they were to go elsewhere, and moreover, they could win 6.000 € to spend in one day.
The ads appeared in local newspapers, however the main focus was the exterior posters, taking advantage of the 2-meter high, free-standing billboards that the association has scattered around the city centre.
